Candy pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Candy in Maputo: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Candy is allowed to say
We run candy the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A candy pod kit from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT1.96 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: candy in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy pod kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at candy in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does candy in a pod kit last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 16 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
