Blackcurrant starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a starter kit for blackcurrant
A blackcurrant starter kit from the cheapest options in Mozambique costs about MT3.01 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Blackcurrant in Maputo reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant starter kit really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested blackcurrant in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.01 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.01 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
