Blackcurrant refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Maputo: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What blackcurrant costs in Maputo
We run blackcurrant the same way in Maputo: same refill pack, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant refill pack really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested blackcurrant in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.37 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a refill pack cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.37 per 10 ml liquid plus MT37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.37 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does blackcurrant in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
