Berry vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Berry in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A berry vape pen from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry vape pen really costs in Maputo
We run berry the same way in Maputo: same vape pen, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested berry in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where berry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.23 per 10 ml liquid plus MT42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
