Berry prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 23 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run berry the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Berry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.08 per 10 ml.
The short version: berry in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
We run berry the same way in Maputo: same prefilled pod, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested berry in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where berry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
