Berry pen device IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 9 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Berry sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: berry in Maputo works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry pen device really costs in Maputo
Berry pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested berry in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where berry goes wrong
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.91 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for berry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~7 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT68 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.91 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On berry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.91 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does berry in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 9 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
