Berry mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 22 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on berry: 22 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Berry in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long berry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a berry mesh tank really costs in Maputo
Berry in Maputo reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested berry in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every berry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where berry goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
