Berry box mod IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a box mod for berry
Berry in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
A berry box mod from the best options in Mozambique costs about MT2.63 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a berry box mod really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested berry in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where berry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.63 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
