Berry 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Berry in Maputo: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Berry is allowed to say
Berry sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run berry the same way in Maputo: same 60 ml bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: berry in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Berry in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested berry in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where berry goes wrong
- Mixing berry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Berry | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | 60 ml bottle | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 20 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT31 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.58 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.58 per 10 ml liquid plus MT31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On berry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.58 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
