Tropical refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Maputo: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a refill pack for tropical
A tropical refill pack from the starter options in Mozambique costs about MT2.55 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at tropical in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical refill pack really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at tropical in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a refill pack
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a refill pack arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.55 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
How long does tropical in a refill pack last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
