Apple sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
Apple sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Apple in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: apple in Maputo works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
The honest read on apple: 12 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested apple in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every apple bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where apple goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing apple with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Apple | Decides coil choice more than strength does |

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT66 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.52 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
