Apple RDA IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Apple in Maputo: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Apple RDA here
Apple sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A apple RDA from the best options in Mozambique costs about MT2.96 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: apple in Maputo works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple RDA really costs in Maputo
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.96 per 10 ml.
How we tested apple in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where apple goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.96 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for apple in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is apple legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How long does apple in a RDA last?
In Maputo we measured 6 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
