Coconut cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Coconut in Maputo: 23 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good cartomizer from a repack
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.64 per 10 ml.
We run coconut the same way in Maputo: same cartomizer, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coconut cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Coconut sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested coconut in a cartomizer
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.64 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
