Vanilla starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Vanilla in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla starter kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested vanilla in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.07 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.07 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does vanilla in a starter kit last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
