Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
The honest read on vanilla: 13 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run vanilla the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Vanilla squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Maputo survives.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for vanilla in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Vanilla | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | squonk mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 13 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT54 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.64 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.64 per 10 ml liquid plus MT54 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does vanilla in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
