Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
The honest read on vanilla: 18 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in Maputo
Vanilla in Maputo reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.28 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.28 per 10 ml liquid plus MT66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
