Home / Vanilla nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist

Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit

Vanilla in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.

Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.

What a vanilla nicotine salt bottle really costs in Maputo

A vanilla nicotine salt bottle from the online options in Mozambique costs about MT2.1 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.

How we tested vanilla in a nicotine salt bottle

1. Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
• Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.

Where vanilla goes wrong

• Treating the advertised MT59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.1 per 10 ml.
• Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
• Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

The rules that apply here

Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
