Vanilla cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 22 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Vanilla in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested vanilla in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.09 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.09 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
