Vanilla cartomizer IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.46 per 10 ml.
Vanilla cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla cartomizer really costs in Maputo
Vanilla in Maputo reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Treating the advertised MT40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.46 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
