Vanilla 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Vanilla in Maputo: 11 units tested over 3 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at vanilla in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: vanilla in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Vanilla in a 60 ml bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested vanilla in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.85 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for vanilla in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Vanilla | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | 60 ml bottle | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 11 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT68 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.85 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a 60 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT1.85 per 10 ml liquid plus MT68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
