Tropical sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Tropical in Maputo: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Tropical sub-ohm kit here
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Tropical in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: tropical in Maputo works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
The honest read on tropical: 14 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.74 per 10 ml liquid plus MT41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does tropical in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 2 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
