Tropical RDA IQOS in Maputo: the flat shortlist
Tropical in Maputo: 13 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Tropical RDA here
The honest read on tropical: 13 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical RDA really costs in Maputo
Tropical RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised MT62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.17 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT3.17 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does tropical in a RDA last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
