Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window

Tropical pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at tropical in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Maputo survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.73 per 10 ml liquid plus MT61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.73 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
