Tropical box mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Tropical in Maputo: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
A tropical box mod from the value options in Mozambique costs about MT1.6 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: tropical in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.6 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
