Tropical 60 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Tropical in Maputo: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
If you are looking at tropical in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on tropical: 22 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: tropical in Maputo works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 60 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
A tropical 60 ml bottle from the discounted options in Mozambique costs about MT1.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a 60 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 60 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a 60 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT1.93 per 10 ml.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
