Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Mozambique
We run tropical the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
We run tropical the same way in Maputo: same 100 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a 100 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Maputo survives.
- Treating the advertised MT65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.39 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
