Tropical 100 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Tropical in Maputo: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.01 per 10 ml.
The honest read on tropical: 22 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical 100 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Tropical 100 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 100 ml bottle.
Is tropical legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How long does tropical in a 100 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
