Tobacco sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Tobacco in Maputo: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Tobacco sub-ohm kit here
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.02 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at tobacco in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Tobacco sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tobacco in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Maputo survives.
- Mixing tobacco with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tobacco in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
