Tobacco mesh tank IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Tobacco in Maputo: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Tobacco mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on tobacco: 13 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco mesh tank really costs in Maputo
We run tobacco the same way in Maputo: same mesh tank, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tobacco in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.21 per 10 ml.
