Tobacco 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Tobacco in Maputo: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
We run tobacco the same way in Maputo: same 10 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A tobacco 10 ml bottle from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT2.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: tobacco in Maputo works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested tobacco in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tobacco tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.38 per 10 ml.

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
