Sweet starter kit IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Sweet starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: sweet in Maputo works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet starter kit really costs in Maputo
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested sweet in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for sweet in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~6 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT48 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT1.97 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sweet the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.97 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
