Sweet squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the online shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 21 units tested over 9 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with sweet in Mozambique
Sweet squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: sweet in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet squonk mod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at sweet in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sweet in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
