Sweet pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sweet is allowed to say
Sweet sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on sweet: 8 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sweet in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet pod kit really costs in Maputo
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.15 per 10 ml.
How we tested sweet in a pod kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised MT55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.15 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for sweet in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | MT55 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.15 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |
