Sweet pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What sweet costs in Maputo
Sweet pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 6 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Sweet in Maputo reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet pod kit really costs in Maputo
We run sweet the same way in Maputo: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sweet in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sweet in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is sweet legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
How long does sweet in a pod kit last?
In Maputo we measured 7 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
