Sweet pen device IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sweet is allowed to say
If you are looking at sweet in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sweet: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sweet in a pen device last?
In Maputo we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
