What sweet costs in Maputo
We run sweet the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
We run sweet the same way in Maputo: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sweet: 20 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.12 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for sweet in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |

| Format | pen device | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 20 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT43 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT3.12 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
