Sweet pen device IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Sweet prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.83 per 10 ml.
Sweet in Maputo reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet pen device really costs in Maputo
Sweet pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sweet in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sweet tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sweet with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
