Sweet box mod IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Sweet in Maputo: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Choosing a box mod for sweet
If you are looking at sweet in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sweet box mod really costs in Maputo
We run sweet the same way in Maputo: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested sweet in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
