Spiced vape pen IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.08 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 22 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced vape pen really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at spiced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested spiced in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.08 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT3.08 per 10 ml liquid plus MT46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does spiced in a vape pen last?
In Maputo we measured 4 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
