Spiced refill pack IQOS in Maputo: the review shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.64 per 10 ml.
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced refill pack really costs in Maputo
Spiced in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Maputo the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested spiced in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for spiced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
