Spiced prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the wholesale shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 11 units tested over 9 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Where buyers go wrong with spiced in Mozambique
Most people searching IQOS in Mozambique are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT3.3 per 10 ml.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
A spiced prefilled pod from the bulk options in Mozambique costs about MT3.3 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested spiced in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised MT48 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.3 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
