Spiced pod kit IQOS in Maputo: the budget shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the spiced habit
The honest read on spiced: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at spiced in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced pod kit really costs in Maputo
A spiced pod kit from the budget options in Mozambique costs about MT3.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested spiced in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.49 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
