Spiced box mod IQOS in Maputo: the order shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Delivery, returns and what 7–14 business days really means
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced box mod really costs in Maputo
A spiced box mod from the pre-order options in Mozambique costs about MT2.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested spiced in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Maputo survives.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On spiced the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT2.54 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
