Spiced box mod IQOS in Maputo: the compare shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Spiced in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Spiced box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced box mod really costs in Maputo
Spiced box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested spiced in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised MT46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT3.1 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for spiced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should spiced start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
