Spiced box mod IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 14 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Spiced in Maputo reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced box mod really costs in Maputo
Spiced box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested spiced in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised MT33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.83 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.83 per 10 ml liquid plus MT33 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.

Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
