Spiced 10 ml bottle IQOS in Maputo: the cheap shortlist
Spiced in Maputo: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Coil life, liquid cost and the spiced habit
Spiced sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run spiced the same way in Maputo: same 10 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: spiced in Maputo works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a spiced 10 ml bottle really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested spiced in a 10 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every spiced bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT44 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.93 per 10 ml.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a 10 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
The rules that apply here
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
Packaging for spiced in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Spiced | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | 10 ml bottle | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 14 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | varies | Legal retail limit in Mozambique |
| Coil life | ~5 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Mozambique | 7–14 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | MT44 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | MT2.93 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Mozambique?
Yes, tracked to 7–14 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How long does spiced in a 10 ml bottle last?
In Maputo we measured 9 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 10 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
