Sourcherry sub-ohm kit IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 20 units tested over 3 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Sourcherry sub-ohm kit here
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Mozambique. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.44 per 10 ml.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry sub-ohm kit really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sourcherry in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Mozambique sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Mozambique need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
How long does sourcherry in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Maputo we measured 3 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Maputo: about MT2.44 per 10 ml liquid plus MT63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
