Sourcherry squonk mod IQOS in Maputo: the price shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 13 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
What the label on Sourcherry is allowed to say
We run sourcherry the same way in Maputo: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at sourcherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: sourcherry in Maputo works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry squonk mod really costs in Maputo
The honest read on sourcherry: 13 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sourcherry in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Mozambique, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Mozambique, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Mozambique stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Maputo survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sourcherry tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within MT1.66 per 10 ml once 7–14 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
How long does sourcherry in a squonk mod last?
In Maputo we measured 8 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
