Sourcherry prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the deals shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
Ordering IQOS to Maputo: the practical version
Sourcherry in Maputo reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.96 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
Ordering into Maputo usually means waiting 7–14 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested sourcherry in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Mozambique.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised MT34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run MT2.96 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sourcherry in Mozambique must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure. Shipping of nicotine to Mozambique runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is sourcherry legal to sell in Mozambique?
Mozambique is an emerging channel with limited retail infrastructure.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
