Sourcherry prefilled pod IQOS in Maputo: the best shortlist
Sourcherry in Maputo: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Mozambique.
How we tested Sourcherry prefilled pod here
The honest read on sourcherry: 6 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Maputo that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within MT2.18 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry prefilled pod really costs in Maputo
If you are looking at sourcherry in Mozambique, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sourcherry in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 7–14 business days.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Mozambique, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 7–14 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Mozambique accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Mozambique?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 7–14 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
What nicotine strength should sourcherry start at?
Start at whatever Mozambique allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
